Hill College Continuing Education (CE) summer classes are open for registration.

Summer classes in Cleburne are offered in the following subject areas:

Health Careers

Nurse Aide Program is offered Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5-9 p.m., June 4-Aug. 7. 

Massage Therapy Program is offered Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., Aug. 8-Nov. 29. 

Medication Aide Program is offered Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6-10 p.m., May 21-Aug. 7.

Medical Assistant Program is offered Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., July 17-Dec. 11. 

Pharmacy Technician Program is offered online Aug. 6-Nov. 9. 

Phlebotomy Technician Program is offered Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6-10 p.m., June 4-July 16.

Basic Job Skills

Professionalism in the Workplace is offered Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-9 p.m., June 4-13.

Customer Service Skills is offered Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-9 p.m., July 9-18.

Introduction to Computers is offered Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-9 p.m., July 30-Aug. 8. 

Computer Classes

Excel Level I is offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-9 p.m., June 5-14.

Excel Level II is offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-9 p.m., June 26-July 5.

Word Level I is offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-9 p.m., July 17-26.

Word Level II is offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-9 p.m., Aug. 7-16.

Dance

Ballroom Country Dance is offered Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7-9 p.m., May 9-17 and Aug. 8-16. 

Safety

OHSHA 10-hour Workplace Safety is offered Saturdays, 8 a.m.-1 p.m., June 2 and 9, and Aug. 18 and 25.

The mission of Continuing Education is to advance individual, community, and workforce development through curriculum and training, which result in personal and professional enrichment. The purpose of the CE Department is to prepare students for certification in a skill or trade and to facilitate continual self-improvement through professional development and personal enrichment classes. 

Registration for all CE courses requires a completed Continuing Education Registration Form. Hill College has an “open door” admissions policy, which ensures that everyone who can profit from a college education has an opportunity to enroll. When applicable, courses may have additional registration requirements that need to be met in order to comply with a certifying agency or a funding source.
